Privacy policy

1. The short version

The relocation timeline runs in your browser. What you type stays on your device and in the link you can copy, and reaches us only if you choose to email yourself the plan or buy a product. We do not sell your data. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see your full card details. Our analytics are cookieless, which is why there is no cookie banner.

2. What we collect, and when

• Timeline inputs. Your pet’s name, species, breed, dates and vaccination status, and your destination and flight date. These are stored in your browser (local storage) and encoded in the shareable link. They are not sent to Pawssible unless you email yourself the plan or proceed to checkout.
• Email capture. If you ask us to email your timeline, or to notify you when a corridor goes live, we collect your email address and your timeline details and store them with our email provider, Resend, to send that message and, if you opt in, a short series about your route. One click unsubscribes.
• Checkout details. When you buy a product we collect your name, email, and any company name and tax registration number you add. Card payment is processed by Stripe; Pawssible receives confirmation of payment and the billing email, not your card number.
• Records app data. If you use Records, we collect the pet health information you choose to store: vaccination records, weights, medications, documents and the vets you save. This is yours, exportable at any time.
• Analytics. We use Plausible, a privacy-first analytics tool that counts page views and events in aggregate. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not build a profile of you.
• Support. Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp, so we can answer them.

3. Cookies

Pawssible does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless, so we do not show a cookie consent banner. The timeline uses your browser’s local storage to remember your last plan on your device; you can clear it in your browser at any time. Stripe may set cookies necessary to process your payment securely on its own checkout.

4. Why we are allowed to process it

• Contract. To deliver a product you bought and the plan, documents and support that come with it.
• Consent. To email you your timeline, notify you about a corridor, or send a short series, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legitimate interest. To run and improve the site with aggregate, cookieless analytics and to keep the service secure.
• Legal obligation. To keep tax and accounting records for a purchase.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers who run the service on our behalf: Stripe for payment, Resend for email, our hosting provider for the site, and, on Handoff, the vetted logistics partner you engage for your move, with your knowledge. We share Records data with a veterinarian only when you choose to. We disclose data if the law or a court requires it. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

6. How long we keep it

• Timeline inputs. On your device until you clear them; in a share link only for as long as you keep the link.
• Email list. Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you.
• Purchase and tax records. Retained as long as UAE tax law requires, which is up to 5 years.
• Records data. While your account is active, then deleted on request subject to any legal retention.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR and the UAE PDPL you can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@pawssible.ai. We respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We serve the site over HTTPS, rely on Stripe’s PCI-compliant infrastructure for payments so card data never touches our servers, and limit access to personal data to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the regulator of a breach where the law requires.

9. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we rely on the provider’s safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it in line with GDPR and the PDPL.

10. Children

Pawssible is intended for adults arranging a pet relocation. You must be at least 18 to buy a product. Records is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes and contact
