Can my pet fly? Breed and destination checker

Enter the breed and the destination. You get a yes, a no or a conditional, with the destination ban list, the Emirates SkyCargo snub-nosed list and the UAE dangerous-animals list that decide it.

[ quick answer · 2 september 2026 ]

Whether a cat or dog can fly out of Dubai depends on three lists: the destination\u2019s import bans (Great Britain and Australia ban specific breeds), Emirates SkyCargo\u2019s snub-nosed list (refused except November to April), and the UAE dangerous-animals list (reinforced crates, no return). This tool checks all three and shows the source.

Why is the answer “conditional” for my Bulldog?

Bulldogs of all types are on Emirates SkyCargo’s snub-nosed list and are only carried under specific conditions between November and April. No destination bans them, so the answer depends on the carrier and the season.

What does “no” mean?

The destination prohibits import of that breed. Paperwork cannot change it; a different destination or an exemption conversation with the authority is the honest path.

Are crosses treated the same?

Emirates SkyCargo considers crosses case by case through the local office. Destinations generally ban “types” for Pit Bull and named breeds otherwise; a documented cross of a banned breed is usually treated as the banned breed.
